This song is one of those Tom Waits, Lou Reed or Bruce Cockburn story-telling things. Originally released on a 3.5" floppy disc and was titled "See What Barroom Dancing Gets You," It was a very limited run on a label out of Northern California. I never personally received a copy myself which is why I'm posting it here. I changed the title because I don't like morals shoved down my throat and I know you don't either.
lyrics
Once it was a Tragedy
Now you're up, it seems so long since its been around.
He was down, you controlled ands, hearts and minds.
Can't perfect the avoidance of reproach.
Whereas once it was a tragedy.
All engorged, you went for comfort.
Intentions hurt your own children.
Your husband died quickly inside him,
Simple mother hold your temper.
Now everything depends on you.
